10KW Water Cooled Electric Drive

 

Introducing Propulsion Marine’s 10 KW Electric Drive for 35 to 40 foot sailboats weighing up to 20,000 lbs.

This Drive is built using a Perm Motor, with an astonishing 94 % efficiency, powered by a Sevcon Controller, and  coupled to a Browning Gearbox.

The 10 KW Drive is available in 72 volts ( 48 volts by special order)

Built for continuous duty at 10 KW, this drive is also capable of intermittent duty of up to 18 KW.   A temperature sensor inside the motor prevents the motor from overheating and cuts back to protect the drive.

This is the toughest, most powerful, most efficient, electric drive in its class.

-  Permanent Magnet, Double Stator, 3 phase AC brushless PERM motor with temperature sensor (10 KW continuous and up to 18 KW peak)
- Sevcon 180 amp, controller mounted on heatsink with thermal transfer paste
