7 KW Water Cooled Electric Drive
Propulsion Marine introduces the 7 KW Electric Drive.
The system utilizes a combination of forced air and water cooling controlled by the controller, activated at a preset motor temperature. The water cooling coil is machined to fit between the motor and the gearbox.
The combination of forced air and water cooling reduces motor temperature by 30 degrees Celcius at full load.
The system utilizes a larger gearbox (not shown in picture) to handle the increased thrust. A larger propeller is recommended.
