Custom Controller – Intelligent and Efficient
The controller is the “brain” of the electric propulsion system. It intelligently modifies the power output of the battery bank to precisely match the needs of the motor, providing maximum efficiency. Greater efficiency means greater range, and greater enjoyment between battery charges.
Propulsion Marine’s controller is custom programmed in partnership with Sevcon. Sevcon’s Gen 4 Controller represents a new generation of controllers, designed from scratch for PMAC motors. Ultra-efficient and very reliable, these robust controllers are perfect in the marine environment. Sevcon’s brilliant engineers and product development staff program these controllers for each individual application. They can be connected to the internet for remote diagnostics and updates.
